An experienced litigator, Ms. Macelloni represents businesses in state and federal courts throughout the country and in various practice areas including corporate disputes, employment, construction, commercial real estate disputes, asset recovery, factoring and other UCC-related disputes, and protecting creditor’s rights in bankruptcy. Prior to joining Barakat Law, Ms. Macelloni spent more than five years specializing in the area of factoring and asset based lending litigation where she developed extensive familiarity with business operations in a diverse range of industries including construction, freight forwarding, and import and export trade.
Ms. Macelloni earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. While attending law school, Ms. Macelloni was an active member of the Nova Law Review, served as Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, spent a semester studying International Law at Universita degli Studi Roma Tre, in Rome, Italy, and received a certificate in International Law upon graduating.
Ms. Macelloni teaches civil litigation as an adjunct Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
